Great Free Math Site for Your Students

My kids have been enjoying a website for a couple of weeks now, and now that they are entered in one of their national contests they are even more excited.  Sumdog.com is a fun way for your students to practice math skills.  They have fun, flash based games that focus on multiple mathematics skills.  The website is free to use and teachers can set up their students with accounts to play.  They have a subscription version that unlocks more features; however, we have been fine with playing the free version so far.

It is also free to have your students play every week in a national contest to win technology prizes for your school.  We started off the week in 316th place, then 253rd, and now 213th.  Pretty far from winning, but the kids love the competition.  They can also compete with others in their class which makes it more exciting and fun to play.

Click on the picture above to head on over to their site and check it out.  I'm sure your students will love it as much as mine do!

Do you have any math sites that you use regularly in your classroom?  I would love to hear about them, as I am always on the look out for fun, educational, computer games to use in the classroom and our computer lab.
