My students are working on an activity from Writing Fix. If you haven't used their site, you should check it out. It's wonderful. They give you picture book lessons on the 6-Traits, interactive brainstorming activities, graphic organizers, etc....
My students did their activity "Rolling with the Animals" after I read the book Duck on a Bike by David Shannon. This is the paper that I made for them to use for their published piece.
